What if Goku and Gohan Fusion had been a thing in Dragon Ball Z instead of Potara Vegito? What would they look like and how strong they would be compared to Super Buu?
Will a fusion between Goku and Gohan actually is a thing over in Japan. The Goku and Gohan Fusion fusion name is called ‘Gokuhan’ or ‘Coohan’
This character is well known to many Dragon Ball Vidoe game players in Dragon Ball Fusion.
When Goku and Gohan are fused they have the same hairstyle that Gohan had when he was fighting Perfect Cell SSJ2.
However, the fusion between Goku and Gohan seems to have more features that look like Gohan but it still looks cool.
How Strong is a Goku and Gohan Fusion?
The strength of Goku and Gohan when fused is on par with that of other G Rank fusions such as Gomas, Vegenks, and Karoly Black. However, when compared to fusion like Metamoran fusion dance and Potara fusion, the G Rank Fusion of Goku and Gohan is weaker.
So the general fusion between Goku and Vegeta such as Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and fusion dance Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is superior.
Gokuhan Abilities In Dragon Ball
The abilities that Gokuhan is cable of doing are but are not limited to:
- Masenko – This attack is labeled as Gohan’s signature attack that he learns from Piccolo during the Saiyan Saga.
- Kamehameha – Gokuhan is capable of doing this attack which is also a signature attack for both Goku and Gohan.
- Energy Exchange – This attack is a combination of energy charges that drastically increase Ki orbs by 3.

So the question most Dragon Ball Z fans would love to know is, What if is Gokuhan who faces Super Buu instead of Super Vegito?
Well, Super Buu was able to successfully absorb Gontenk Super Saiyan 3 and Piccolo stack on top of his own power.
So as seen in the original anime of Dragon Ball Z When Super Buu absorbs Piccolo and Gotenks, he had the edge over Ultime Gohan.
Gohan was struggling to keep up with Super Buu’s strength and seep while Super Buu was just toying with Gohan.
It was not until Tien and Son Goku showed up to assist Gohan in the battle against Super Buu.
However, it was futile against Super Buu because neither Goku, Tien nor Gohan could stop or challenge Super Buu.
At the same time, Vegeta was dead and was waiting for King Yama to decide if he would keep his body. So. What is Vegeta did not show up in time and Gohan did not get absorb bu Super Buu?>
Well, If Goku and Gohan fuse with the Potara earring in Dragon Ball Z against Super Buu instead of Vegeta = Vegito.
Gokuhan Vs. Super Buu
Gokuhan would still have the edge over Super Buu but not as superior as Vegito would be. Even though Super Buu would have 2 Saiyans Goten and Trunks. Gohan alone by himself power level was greater than that of Piccolo and Goten and Trunks fusion Gotenks.
So Goku and Gohan fused together would increase the power level multiple times over giving them the edge over Super Buu.
As Vegito mention to Super Buuhan back in Dragon Ball Z, it’s not about the quantity but the quality of the fighter’s fusion.
So even though Super Buu would have as least 3 people absorbed he would not stand a chance against Gokuhan.
Why?
Well, that’s because Gotenks and Piccolo in weaker when compared to Gokuhan fusion.
