Is Goku a God in Dragon Ball Super? Will Goku ever surpasses Beerus in the anime?
These are some of the many questions fans have been asking a lot.
These are clearcut questions for most fans but not for all, especially for the new fans.
So today, most of these questions will be answers base on statements and key details that are misunderstood by a few fans.
When Beerus first learn about the Super Saiyan God that defeated Frieza, he came looking on earth to find God Goku.
This was after the defeat of Frieza on Planet Namek by Super Saiyan Goku. Whis informed Beerus about a Super Saiyan God that single-handed defeated Frieza.
According to the Gods, there was no one in the universe that could ever possibly come close to defeating Frieza.
Nonetheless, even Frieza himself believed that he was understandable, except for the Gods. So after Frieza’s defeat, Whis and Beerus came looking for Super Saiyan God Goku.
Anyways, after the whole interaction and introduction of Whis and Beerus showing up on the earth, we thought that Whis was Beeru’s servant.
However, that was no the case, however, we will get back to that part. After trying everything in his book to figure out a way to defeat Beerus, Goku was unable to even touch Beerus.
So what happened after is that all the Saiyans decided to combine thier powers into a single point or person that is pure-hearted which would be Goku.
This was called the Saiyan God Ritual which would only be performed by 5 Pure Hearted Saiyans, and yes this includes Vegeta.
After the Ritual was completed, we finally get to see a new Goku transformation. It was the first time seeing Goku as a Super Saiyan God with red hair.
Is Goku a God Now?
Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue transformation has perfect ki control over all his other forms, therefore giving him to able to rival Gods and Moral such as Beerus, Jiren, and Toppo. Also, Goku now has the ultra instinct technique that widens the gap between him and Vegeta.
When Super Saiyan God Goku went up against Beerus in Battle Of Gods, at the time Beerus was only using 70% of his powers.
Eventually, as the battle between Goku and Beerus prolonged, Goku reverted back down to his normal Super Saiyan form.
While Goku fights Beerus aggressively, Goku did not realize that he was not in his God form until Beerus informed him about it.
At that point, after attaining the God form from the Saiyan ritual, Goku was able to tap into his God ki while in his Super Saiyan form.
Remember, at first, Goku could not touch Beerus in his Super Saiyan 3 form, but now he’s able to go toe to toe with Beerus.
That was the last time we ever saw Goku and Beerus fight official in the anime. There have been any fan-made battles between Goku and Beerus online but those are not canon.

Is Super Saiyan Blue a God?
Super Saiyan Blue God out of Goku and Vegeta is a transformation that rivals the God of the universe, this is because Super Saiyan Blue can control the amount of power whether more or less should be used.
So, further on as the anime progresses, Goku gains more and more experience along with power from the battle he did after his fight with Beerus.
We all could agree that if Beerus and Goku were to fight again at some point in the anime, Beerus would have to use more power.
However, we don’t know for sure if Goku surpasses Beerus at Super Saiyan Blue. Then again, Goku now has ultra instinct and Kaioken that can stack on top of Blue.
Toriyama did an interview where he states that Goku as a Super God is a 6, Beerus is a 10, and Whis is a 15 base on strength.
Now, this was a statement Toriyama made when Goku was only a mere Super Saiyan God he did not have Blue yet.
So it’s safe to say that Goku with all the power and battle he has been through in super, should be either equal or stronger than Beerus at this point.
Can Goku Become a God?
Goku has all the prerequisite abilities to become a God in dragon ball super, he has Ki that rivals the Gods and he can now control ultra instinct Omen which is difficult for most Gods.
So, back to the question Is Goku a God? I guess we can all agree that Goku at this point in the anime and the manga is definitely God and more.
I believe Both God and Vegeta are on their way to an angle level, however, it will not come easy until Goku Master ultra instinct
Is Goku a God Now In Dragon Ball Super
As far as we know in dragon ball, the angles are master of ultra instinct while Gods of destruction struggles to attain the technique.
Will Goku become a God?
Episode 131 of dragon ball super showed us that Goku can tap into the Power of the Gods and achieve ultra instinct to overpower Jiren. However, the anime seems to lead lean toward Goku being more of an angle and Vegeta as a God of destruction.
Is Goku Stronger Than Beeurs?
Goku’s power level and strength at the end of super had increased since the last serious battle between him and Beerus. However, since Beerus was using only 70% of his power in the last battle, even if he fights at 100% Goku will have an edge over Beeurs because of his ultra instinct capacities.
