Dragon Ball Super Manga chapter 58 is now in the history books and the battle between Moro Vs Ultra Instinct Omen Goku begins.
Goku has arrived to save the day as he’s done many times in the past. This Dragon Ball Super Manga chapter 58 has a lot of controversies and we’re going to get into that in this Manga chapter Review.
This chapter picks up where we left off the last time as Goku arrives after sensing Krillin’s ki at the end of the last chapter.
That is how Goku was able to teleport to planet Earth right off the bat. So when Goku arrives he seems to be filled with confidence after training with Merus.
Krillin straight up actually believes he can beat Moro. Goku says ”yeah I can, we actually need to beat Moro.”
The Official Manga Site: Viz Manga
So Goku has a sense of urgency in this Manga chapter which I’m very happy about because he’s still excited and wants to fight. However, this could be a real problem with Moro.
This could be a real problem for Goku squaring off against Moro? Nonetheless, Goku has to help his friends how are fighting the prisoners all over the Earth.
Goku’s Teleportation Ability
Over the first portion of this chapter, Goku uses his teleportation ability to get to different parts of the planet to help out his friends.
First, he goes to help his pal Yamcha and Tien. then while that’s happening Gohan and Piccolo have their hands full with Sagumbo.
Sagumbo is the guy who gave Moro some of his energy to power him up.
And it seems to be quite a bit because Sagumbo is really tough to beat because of the power boost.
There is a part in the manga chapter where Jocko is straight-up insulting Sagumbo. Jacko said that Moro may have given you all this new power but now you’re pretty much his slave.
Jacko tells him that you know you’re essentially Moro’s little b***h. However, Jacko didn’t use those words I’m using those words.
Now, we know that the prisoners are not just happy to get out but they’re happy to have a new power.
Sagumbo was a bit distracted by Jocko’s insult enough for Goku to show up. Goku attacked Sagumbo at blazing speed so fast it cannot be seen by the naked eyes.
Super Fast Goku
Goku was moving so fast that not even Piccolo and Gohan can see him with the naked eye or even sense him whatsoever.
That is an impressive thing because usually, Piccolo could see these kinds of things but no they can’t even sense Goku.
meanwhile, we find out that Jocko can actually see Goku because he has very good eyesight.
Whatever Jacko’s species is they have good eyesight. Interestingly enough, Moro is able to sense Goku and see him while Goku appears right behind Moro.
Over Confident Goku Vs Moro
Goku straight up tells Moro he’s going to beat Moro. It’s interesting because you know here we have Goku confronting Moro face to face very overconfident.
Typically in Dragon Ball, whenever someone’s overconfident whether it be a good guy or a bad guy they end up not winning for some reason.
It’s a constant sort of reminder that Toriyama has given us for years about the hubris of the Mortal mind.
So I am wondering if that is going to happen here as well? But before that can happen Sagumbo is back up again he and he wants more of Goku.
It seems he doesn’t want to go back to prison. We can all understand why even though he is a criminal and he’s willing to stand up against Goku and show him more of his power.
So, I got to be honest people are going to complaining about a lot of things in this Manga chapter.
One thing that I know it’s going to be talked about is the downplaying of Gohan and Piccolo.
Once again Goku shows up and complements them for training for both of them are marking consulate.
They’re just not able to protect the Earth so it’s sort of like a backhanded compliment to Gohan and Piccolo.
Dragon Ball has done this for how long now where Goku will say oh you’re stronger but you’re not on my level.
Goku’s not really saying that but that’s sort of what’s being said. It just kind of rubs it in that Piccolo and Gohan no matter what just can never catch up to Goku.
It’s going to be a constant thing over and over again in the series and I’m wondering if that’ll ever change?
Super Saiyan Blue Goku
So; Goku Powers up to Super Saiyan Blue and tear Sagumbo apart. Sagumbo tries to attack Goku but he cannot connect Goku is blocking all of his shots effortlessly.
Goku compliments Sagumbo for being so sturdy but then he tells him ”being so sturdy is not enough to beat me.”

That’s a badass talking point from Goku he’s never been this overconfident not too often because it’s not really something that he should be doing.
But when he does it it’s great, but again in the back of my head, I’m thinking this is going to backfire on Goku.
Maybe it’ll happen next Manga chapter even though Goku keeps pummeling Sagumbo.
Goku Vs. Moro’s Soldier
Sagumbo is not done yet and we find out that when Moro smacked him away he gave him a bit more of its power.
Sagumbo is much more powerful than he was even before fighting Gohan and Piccolo just a few minutes ago.
However, Super Saiyan Bule Goku is not finishing him off as fast as he should.
Moro goes ahead and gives Sagumbo even more power. Interestingly Goku tells Moro that is Sagumbo might not be able to handle all that power.
There might be a limitation depending on the species of the person. I guess some characters have limitations.
So now Moro wants to see another one of Goku’s forms and Goku tries to cheap shot Moro and Moro just blocked it like nothing.
So this is not going to be a walk in the park for Goku as I had previously assumed. While that’s happening Sagumbo just kicked over and is presumably dead because he couldn’t handle any more power.
Goku, of course, is surprised that Moro does not care for Sagumbo, Moro said ”he’s not my Soldier I don’t care about that guy.”
Now, Goku wants to show Moro the limits of his power and that’s where things get controversial.
Ultra Instinct Omen Goku
Goku is now able to power up into Ultra Instinct omen at will. It’s not the same thing as perfected Ultra Instinct form with the silver hair.

However, the big keyword here is that he did it at will. So it’s no longer a case of Goku not being able to tap into all Ultra Instinct Omen when he wants to.
Now Goku knows how to at least into this version of it, not the completed form. The big debate here is was it too soon for Ultra Instinct Omen Goku to be in that form?
Leave your comment down below and let me know if you feel like Goku being able to tap into Ultra Instinct Omen at this point in the manga is too soon.
Why?
Well, because it does sort of feel like it’s too fast too, or too rushed and not really earned as yet.
I feel like Goku should have probably gone through a few more fights with Moro before being able to tap into this Ultra Instinct Omen at will.
However, on the bright side, I think the training Goku had with Merus really paid off for him to tap into this form at will.
