Today we are going to look at some of the best Naruto Shippuden Arcs Ranked and loved by fans. These are not arcs that have been ranked in order though.
Anyway, the Naruto Shippuden anime series is one of the top 5 best anime in the world and it has a lot of good arcs that many fans love.
Just to name a few we had the 4th Great Shinobi War arc, The five Kage summit, The Chunin exam arc, and Pain Saga arc are some of the most favorites arcs in the franchise.
So, let’s cover some of the most fan-favorite Naruto Shippuden Arcs in the anime.
4th Great Shinobi War Arc
With The 4th great shinobi war, we saw some amazing Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and even Genjutsu that we have never seen before. For instants, we saw team 10 battled Asuma, which was is between Hayate and Yaguo. Not to mention all the 5 Hokage’s fighting to defeat Madara along with Obito v.s Kakashi.
One of the saddest parts about this arc was the fact that Neji died to protect Naruto along with Shikaku and Inoichi as well. Whilst the best part about the 4th Great Shinobi War was to see the reunion of team 7 Sasuke Sakura and Naruto again.
Pain Saga Arc
The pain saga arc, what makes this arc one of the most fans favorites was because of all the events leading up to it from the Akatsuki suppression mission to the Itachi v.s Sasuke battle.
These events caused what lead up to the pain saga arc. We also witness the death of some of the beloved characters we grew with.
Hated and anger keep building up as the series progress. First, it was Asuma who got killed while fighting the Akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu.
Afterward, it was pervy sage aka Jiraiya sensei’s death at the hands of Pain that was a shocker. finally, Itachi’s death at the hands of his little brother Sasuke.
However, the best part about this arc was how the children of the Chunin exam evolved over time. Sakura, Ino and Chouji, Shikamaru and Naruto.
Naruto had trained and master sage Jutsu and we didn’t actually believe he could do something significant with it until he faces Pain and fought with all of them.
Pain successfully destroys Konohagakure and even the mightiest of the mighty warriors like Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Kakashi fall victim to Pain, however, not Naruto.
Naruto after finished up on his sage training enters the battlefield and faces the man who killed his Sensei and destroyed his village.
This arc alone gave many fans goosebumps and tears. Naruto had actually become incredibly powerful that everyone was thrown off my chair. He fought on par with Pain in his sage mode but he had the upper hand.
However, in the end, range took over and the Nine tail transformation vs pain scene was awesome as well. It felt as if all the suppressed anger Naruto had got released at once.
Chunin Exams Arc
The Naruto Shippuden Chunin exams arc was so exciting to see the like Gaara vs Rock Lee fight, and Shikamaru vs Temari fight.
All those battles were definitely something to see and had fans hooked to their tv screens. Orochimaru attacked Konoha and Hiruzen died, it was sad one of the saddest parts of this arc.
However, we got to see the battles in the forest of death although there was some unnecessary stuff that happened like naruto only winning against Kiba because he farted in his face.
Nevertheless, the fact that Ino and Sakura cut their hair off and had the stupidest fight was a low blow to the arc. Furthermore, everyone was shocked that had a chance to stand his ground against someone like Neji after getting hit by his 64 palms.
Chasing Sasuke Arc
The Naruto arc ”Chasing Sasuke” started from episodes 107–135, this arc is one of the most-watched and love arcs by fans. We got to see some of the best character development in the series along with some of the best fights in the series.
The manga was running all of these, simultaneously without losing the viewer or reader. everything was balanced perfectly but it all leads up to the first heartbreaking conclusion of the anime series.
This is the part where Naruto Shippuden truly started to heat up. This arc made Naruto resilient so he couldn’t fail against most enemies he had no business fighting. Also, this arc did so much impact on the series that it haunts the characters involved for the remaining 600 episodes.
Most fans just loved everything about this arc. we got to see the like of everyone in battle like all the 5 of them showed potential.
the battle between Chouji and Jirobo was freaking epic with the three pills. Neji vs Kidomaru lighted the full extent of Neji’s power as a shinobi.
The fight between Kiba vs Sakon and udon showed us that Kiba wasn’t scared to die and he would do it for his comrades or for Akamaru.
Shikamaru vs Tayuya really showed what Shikamaru is capable of and why he was even a bigger genius. Then rock Lee came in the mids even though he was hurt from his last battle with Kimimaro. Rock Lee’s drunken fist was just epic and funny to see.
Naruto vs Sasuke, then Kyuubi vs Curse mark was awesome. What made most fans love this arc so much as to do with the fact that the sand siblings came and rescued Kiba Shikamaru and Lee out of nowhere.
Nevertheless, this arc really showed us the fans that Shikamaru’s character development going from genin to Chunin. However, Shikamaru said that he didn’t care about Sasuke however, in the same arc, he said that although he doesn’t like Sasuke, he is still a shinobi of Konoha and will risk his life to save him.
Jiraiya Sensei’s Death Arc
It was the first time Naruto has lost someone in life apart from his Mom and Dad. Yes, it is true that Naruto lost both mother and father when he was just born, however, as Sasuke puts it, he was alone from the beginning.
He never knew what it felt like to lose someone so close like his master Jiraiya. It was the first time fans saw Naruto this sad in the anime and it felt like we were the ones who lost Jiraiya Sensei as well.
The Battle Between Brothers Arc (Sasuke V.s Itachi)
While the Pain Arc turned out to have a happy ending, this portion of the Shippuden series had Sasuke ducking out against his older brother Itachi.
We all know by now that Itachi was the complete opposite. This fight for Sasuke on the other hand was a complete contrast, filled with hate, betrayal, darkness, and anger,
We saw the portrayal of Sasuke’s feelings and his anguish is amazing throughout this arc and the fight with Itachi. With the fight between Sasuke and Itachi, we get to know how powerful Sasuke has grown, countering Itachi’s every attacks even from Genjutsu.
The saddest moment in this arc, was when Sasuke and the fans learn the truth about Itachi’s true motives. A lot of fans cried alongside Sasuke at the time.
This helped Sasuke to awaken his beautiful Mangekyo Sharingan in his miserable state.
Kakashi’s Death Arc
No one thought that there was a shinobi Naruto Shippuden who could very well take out his sensei Kakashi Hatake. However, not this time the very person who made it through everything, Kakashi would meet his end when he fought with pain.
When Kakashi makes an ultimate save and rescues his comrade Iruka, we the fans really thought that Pain was about to get beaten up. However, that was not the case.
afterward, we saw yet another brilliant fight with Kakashi’s intelligence being put to its limits such as his ability to repel literally everything. That’s pretty awesome.
Fans were scared and got upset about the fact that Pain had defeated one of the Legendary Sannin. However, when Kakashi died that was the final straw.
Pain was officially the most intimidating villain and probably the most hated character in the show at the time.
The fact that Kakashi of the Sharingan had died news hit Lady Tsunade, the Hokage bad, she had literally almost cried, while shattering a pillar in her disbelief. Fans were not prepared for that moment.
Asuma’s death Arc
Asuma’s death most likely made it as one of the most fan-favorite arcs in the Naruto Shippuden series.- and trust As we all know, Asuma’s fight against Hidan kept us hooked and captivated until his heartbreaking end.
It was constantly having us worried about his death. After his close shave and seeming victory from Hidan’s decapitation, we realize that their constant efforts were futile in the fight.
Even with someone like Shikamaru’s life-saving analysis of Hidan’s abilities and his saving of Asuma at the very last minute. Captain Asuma of Team 10 still meets his end in the arc at the hands of yet another member of the Akatsuki.
