Why did Sasuke admit defeat Between Him and Naruto’s final Battle?
The final battle between Naruto and Sasuke is misinterpreted by many people because it was more so a clash of beliefs/ideologies. You could even add the importance of bonds to the mix, the fighting between the two was just a plus.
At the time, Sasuke was all about revolution throughout the entire war arc. Sasuke had made up his mind on what he was going to do back when he had Orochimaru bring back the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Hokages.
Sasuke’s Goal Before The Shinobi Great War
Sasuke wanted to change things so that what happened to his brother Itachi would never be done to anyone else again. The way Sasuke at the time was going about it was debatable.
Firstly he wanted to kill the five Kage and then Naruto so there would be no one to oppose him. After that Sasuke was going to do what he thought a Hokage would do by giving the world a common enemy like they did his brother Itachi and bare all their hatred on his shoulders. That way, there would be peace well at least his definition of peace.
He could not fight them all when there was a single threat to focus on in the war. Everything he planned on doing would lead him into the shadow he would isolate himself that’s where the bonds come in.
Sasuke’s belief was to decide whose way of changing the ninja world was better and like Madara admitted to Hashirama.
As optimistic as his friends/rivals ideals seemed, Sasuke just may have been the right way to go about it rather than dictatorship. Sasuke also thought he was always alone and that connections and family were meaningless.
Therefore, throughout the battle, Sauake and Naruto talked about it telepathically basically all he wanted to do was isolate himself. Sasuke did not really clearly think about it until he and Naruto were laying there with the possibility of dying.
Why Did Sasuke Admit Defeat?
Sasuke basically admit defeat and told Naruto he was right I’m wrong. Sasuke saw the fault in himself in the end and that’s why he lost. Naruto’s way of thinking is better and brings genuine peace if that makes sense rather than forcing it.
Naruto believed he could create everlasting peace through love, bonds, and friendships which is understandably naive in the eyes of someone like Sasuke. However, as the result shows, Naruto was able to change his mind.
Once Naruto and Sasuke series had passed you can pretty much guess what will happen, more hated and war but, if the new generations can keep that vision of peace alive then there’s always hope at least.
Sasuke’s Main Plan At The End OF The Shinobi War
Sasuke’s plan was to kill Naruto, be the new Hokage, and carry all the hate on his shoulders. However, when he lost he accepted Naruto as his friend and gave up. The only reason Sasuke gave up was not him accepting Naruto as a friend but because he saw that he had a real friend that will always be with him and accept him.
Sasuke also learned that he could not do what he wanted to do as long as Naruto was there to stop him, Sasuke didn’t lose physically he lost mentally.
