Dragon Ball Heroes Episode 6 was awesome probably the best one yet, so let’s talk about it.
In the previous episode of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, we saw Xeno Goku and Vegeta fused into Super Saiyan 4 Vegito. Vegito was able to or so we thought defeat Cumber with a huge Kamehameha.
Finally, we thought Cumber Was Defeated and then Fu comes out and transforms into his powered-up form.
Then Fu pulls out his sword and he was going to fight Xeno Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan 4 who had defused at that point.
Now, as we enter Dragon Ball Heroes episode 6, the battle is about to take place between these three.
But we only get a very brief animation of Xeno Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan 4 taking on super Fu, however, it was only short-lived. That is because cumber is still alive. I don’t know-how in the heck Cumber survives a Kamehameha from a Super Saiyan 4 Vegito.
Then Cumber actually gets defeated later on in this episode by Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku. Somehow Cumber survives this time again and it’s kind of a joke. At that point, he screams that he wants to fight. His overwhelming power starts blowing everybody away. Even Fu who before was ready to challenge Cumber now looks a little bit scared.
Fu doesn’t want to fight Cumber for whatever reason, that doesn’t really make too much sense if you asked me. Pretty much what Fu was saying before he escaped was:
“It doesn’t really matter because they will be resurrected soon anyway.” So who he means by that is Merged Zamasu and two other characters.
Dragon Ball Heroes Episode 6 English Dub
Fu slashes open a portal to escape. So, he opens up a rift and he jumps in and the only person that’s able to jump in after him is actually golden Cooler. Goku and Vegeta try to get in but it closes before they’re able to. Cumber charges up a gigantic death ball and he throws it down as at Xeno Goku and Vegeta who are struggling big time. Even though Cumber was in his base form, he’s taking a ton of battle damage. Again guys, as we know Dragon Ball Heroes power scaling doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
You’ll see that later on in his post. With Ultra Instinct Goku, if it’s any consolation. I thought that there was actually a lot of really good art in this episode.
Honestly, I just love this red ki everywhere, I mean it actually looks super clean. However, I appreciate the arc even though there’s not too much physical animation. With this Dragon Ball Heroes Episode, there are some really good clean colorful art shots. Something about that red hue everywhere just adds such a cool element to the characters that make them look awesome.
Ultra Instinct Omen
We get a nice scene of Goku on the ground and opening his eyes as Ultra Instinct Omen before a flood of light explodes. I really like those shots of the white energy just blowing out everywhere.
It definitely seems like a dramatic transformation for Goku. They did a good job here in my opinion. Also, rather than just let Goku popping on Ultra Instinct like it was nothing. You could feel the same emotion out of Heroes’ version of Ultra Instinct. Now we don’t know if we’ll ever get Ultra Instinct back in the anime. I’m hoping we will, but at least Dragon Ball Heroes gives it to us once more.
If this is even any indication whatsoever of what the transformation would be like from start to finish. Going forward in the anime with this is showing us is that Goku starts as Omen, closes his eyes, and opens them.

And as he opens his eyes his hair transforms as well. Well, So far and Dragon Ball Heroes Goku was pushed to his limits. Goku had a lot of tough battles so far, including Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku, Cumber, Cooler, Fu, etc. However, it actually makes some sense that he would transform into Ultra Instinct at this point and break his limits.
Goku Vs Cumber, Fu, and Zamasu
Let’s talk about the animation of Ultra Instinct in this episode, was it good? Well, obviously it’s not going to be anything reminiscent of episode 110 or 130 because he had such a massive staff of spectacular animators.
They did a fairly decent job at least for Dragon Ball Heroes showing some speed and some power coming out of Ultra Instinct Goku.
Also, some cool flying kicks, we saw some cool movements come out of Goku. While the prison planet was about to blow up, everybody takes hold of Xeno Goku and he teleports them to safety.
It brings back some memories while the planet is being destroyed. Very reminiscent of Frieza versus Super Saiyan Goku in the last 5 minutes of Prison Planet. We saw nice little dodging animation of Goku like the original anime.
This is honestly probably the best animation that we got in the entire heroes’ episode. There were lots of frames of Goku just moving around, it was pretty cool actually to see this very good depiction of Ultra Instinct Goku again.
Dragon Ball Heroes Epic Animation
This is the kind of animation dragon ball heroes fans want to see, Goku just phasing around. Now the funny thing is, remember Cumber was fighting against Super Saiyan 4 Vegito. Cumber survived a Kamehameha from Super Saiyan 4 Vegito. The power of cumber is ridiculously high.
I mean this guy is just completely unrivaled and although he’s not in Super Saiyan 4 or the great ape form. At this point, Cumber simply cannot touch Ultra Instinct Goku. Nonetheless. That was a nice animation.

I think the only problem with this animation was that it was a little bit stiffer for some reason. With Dragon Ball Heroes when they do 2D side-scrolling combat, it’s always really stiff.
And I don’t understand what their problem is. Their previous animation was pretty good but they kind of failed here with this one. Obviously, Cumber is pretty upset and surprised that he can’t land a hit on Ultra Instinct Goku.
That part was cool when Cumber throws a punch and Ultra Instinct Goku just catches it like a boss and then nails Cumber the face. To be honest, that was my favorite part, that was neat. It shows that not only is Ultra Instinct Goku fast and unhittable.
Ultra Instinct Goku
But he’s also incredibly strong as well, and then Goku charges up a Kamehameha, and Cumber nukes Cumber out of existence.
The only thing about this is that they’re trying to tell us that Ultra Instinct Goku is way stronger than Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta. I have a problem with it because we’ve seen how strong fusions are between Gogeta and the Broly movie and Kefla.
We know that fusion is a multiplier even in the tournament of power for fusions we know that fusions are ridiculously overpowered.
It’s pretty much a Win condition that makes you unbeatable. Dragon Ball Heroes is doing their silly thing where power scaling doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
There is no point in trying to dissect and say that oh, Ultra Instinct Goku is stronger than a Super Saiyan 4 Vegito.
That’s why Dragon Ball Heroes doesn’t make any sense and we know that it’s just for fun. However, Ultra Instinct Goku Kamehameha is way stronger than Super Saiyan 4 Vegito here in Dragon Ball Heroes.
I’m perfectly okay with it being Ultra Instinct Goku taking the win against Cumber. I think we can all agree that Super Saiyan 4 Vegito should have taken the cake with that blast against Cumber as well.
But I digress, it’s Heroes. Moving forward, Cumber is defeated and he’s laying on the ground. When the smoke has cleared Goku is no longer Ultra Instinct, he used up pretty much all of his energy in the fight.
Dragon Ball Heroes Zamasu
However, at that point, the battle was finally over or so you think because as that red moon crack open in the sky. Or while it begins to crack, some new foes enter the scene. Now we don’t know who some of these characters are but we do know one major bad boy that is making his return and that is merged Zamasu.
Zamasu is wearing an eyepatch and the question is why is Merged Zamasu a cyborg? He looks actually pretty battered up and beaten which is interesting. He’s got this strange kind of like cyborg armor on and this eyepatch.
Cyborg Zamasu
Now, it looks like he’s with three little Kaioshins or maybe they’re Mai-Kaioshins next to him. However, the one guy in the back with his arms folded is completely blacked out. I’m wondering if that’s just another regular type of enemy or if that’s actually some super-powerful enemy.
It is pretty strange, I’m also wondering if Merged Zamasu is actually powered up? What If this cyborg Zamasu is a lot stronger than the old Zamasu we know Dragon Ball Super.
Well, we will find that out in the next episode. Zamasu lifts up cumbers body and rescues him. Then everybody just disappears leaving Goku alone on the planet as it’s about to explode.
Again, very similar to the Namek Saga of Goku fighting Frieza, it’s like we get it all over again.
The only thing this time it’s Ultra Instinct Goku. As the ground cracks open, everything explodes and it appears that Goku dies. However, I’m guessing Goku just use instantaneous movement at the last second.

I don’t see any spaceships there for him to fly away in, but Goku looks pretty scared. And with that happening, the prison planet arc is over as the entire cluster of Prison Planet explodes.
Universal Conflict Arc
Now, we’re leading into a new arc for Dragon Ball Heroes called the Universal Conflict Arc.
In the next arc, we’re going to get a lot of characters. Characters even from Universe 6 including Kefla and Hit and potentially even Broly.
Again, guys, I’ll be going over that in my next post tomorrow breaking down the next episode preview for Dragon Ball Heroes.
